As a Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT) and Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 500) my foundation is rooted in the teachings of TKV Desikachar and Krishnamacharya. I have studied Integrative Yoga Therapy with Joseph and Lilian Le Page and Serena Aurora; LifeForce Yoga with Amy Weintraub; Hatha Yoga with Devinder Kaur; and Tantra with many practitioners. Exploring sound as a healing modality with the late, great Barclay McMillan and pioneer Jonathan Goldman led me to certify with the Sound Healers Association. Offerings are also inspired by the work of my teachers, Hala Khouri, Richard Miller, Maria Mendola, Brian James, Kimberly Johnson, Dianne Bondy, and Ana Canova.
I currently hold space for online classes, workshops and courses through PranaShanti Yoga Centre and via my home studio. All offerings focus on trauma-informed practice to build capacity for self-regulation and collective resilience. The container that we create is grounded in compassion and strong enough to hold the full spectrum of experience. By integrating simple yet powerful rituals into our daily routines, we can cultivate balance on all dimensions of being.

Yoga Therapy combines these powerful tools: Pranayama (breathing techniques), Asana (physical postures), Mantra (self-created sounds) Mudra (symbolic hand gestures or attitudes) and Yoga Nidra (guided meditation). My training includes Integrative Yoga Therapy (IYT) - an experiential approach for safely exploring the various dimensions of being based on a vision of health as unity; and LifeForce Yoga (LFY) - a practice of compassion that creates a container big enough to embrace and accept all the dualities of life. LFY is an evidence-based approach to working with depression and anxiety. 
Instead of offering a diagnosis, treating symptoms and attempting to cure, the goal is to facilitate deeper transformation. Yoga Therapy is not a substitute for medical attention; it is a complementary modality. This approach is beneficial for people meeting a wide range of challenges: from the stress of daily living to the symptoms of personal and collective trauma. I offer one-on-one and group sessions via Tiered Pricing (Supporter, Sustainer, Sponsor). Please contact me directly to discuss.

specific training, not derived from my status as a Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 500) with Yoga Alliance.
